Unveiling Freemasonry's Idolatry
Author: John M. Otis
Unveiling Freemasonry's Idolatry will be a 400-500 page book revealing why the Masonic Lodge is truly one of the world's most dangerous and deceptive cults. This book will be the most comprehensive Christian critique of Freemasonry in print once published. Key aspects of the rituals with pictures are included in the book. Freemasonry is a thoroughly anti-Christian organization, even though it touts itself as a humanitarian organization that supposedly is a friend of Christianity. Nothing could be further from the truth. Masonic ritual and symbols are the re-enactment of the ancient pagan mystery religions. There is a reason why the ritual is done in imitation with the movement of the sun. It is because it is imitating ancient sun worship. Masonic authorities unabashedly state that Freemasonry is the heir of the ancient mysteries. It has no problems with ancient Baal worship.
In the higher degrees, Lucifer is worshipped as the god of light while Adonai (one of God's true names) is viewed as the god of darkness, a cruel god. The occult influence is rampant throughout Masonic degrees. The heresies of Gnosticism are throughout its teachings, and the teachings of the New Age Movement are identical with various aspects of Freemasonry.
Despite claims to the contrary by some Masons, Freemasonry is a religion. It demands belief in a god, not necessarily the Christian God. The lodge is viewed as the "holy of holies." The head of the lodge is called "Worshipful Master." Prayers are regularly made to "the Deity." Sacred oaths are demanded of its initiates, where they are required to kneel at an "altar," placing their hands on whatever sacred book they choose (it can be the Bible, Koran, Book of Mormon, the Hindus sacred books, etc.)
The sacred name of God is a combination of various deities; hence, Freemasonry is a syncretistic religion. It believes in the legitimacy of all religious creeds and demands toleration in its lodges of all sectarian beliefs. It believes that Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, etc. can all pray at the same altar, for it believes that they all worship the same God in different ways. Freemasonry champions what it calls, "The Fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of Man." They mean that God is the Father of all men regardless of their particular sectarian beliefs, and that the followers of all religions are spiritual brothers.
The Masonic Lodge has a clearly defined view of the means of salvation. It states that its purpose is to help good men become better. It is unashameably a works salvation organization. The ritual and symbols are all designed to convey a man's progress in the perfection of himself, making himself worthy of entering the celestial lodge where the Great Architect of the Universe is present. It has burial services for some who acquire certain degrees.
Freemasonry boldly asserts that it is in quest of "Light." It believes that its light can enable men to perfect themselves. The reality is - Freemasonry's light is utter darkness that will ruin men's souls in hell forever. The Bible emphatically states that Satan disguises himself as an "angel of light." This is why Freemasonry is such a deceptive and dangerous cult.
No professing Christian should ever be a member of the Masonic Lodge. There are some Christian denominations that view membership in the Lodge as a grievous sin, subject to church discipline.
Rev. Otis seeks to "cover all the bases" in his analysis of Freemasonry. As one strips away one veil after another, the real ugliness becomes blatantly obvious- Masonic ritual is satanic worship.
